The Department is run by the following bodies:
  1. The Convention of the Department, which decides about every functional issue, according to the internal regulation of the Technological Educational Institute. It consists of the Department's Principal, all permanent educational staff and student representatives. Associate Professor Dr. Dimitrios Christodoulou was elected Principal of the Department for the academic season 2015 - 2016.
  2. The Council of the Department, which decides about functional matters, according to the greek legislation. It consists of the Department's Principal and permanent educational staff, as well as student and technician represenatives.
